Period & cycle tracker

Too early to test.
Too anxious to wait.

That gap is why Safr exists. Log your cycle and the symptoms you are noticing, sync your overnight temperature from Apple Watch or Oura, and Safr shows you where you are in your cycle plus the earliest day a pregnancy test could actually give you a real answer.

Safr is a period tracking app. It is not a contraceptive, and it cannot detect pregnancy. Only a real test can. We would rather say that up front than sell you certainty we do not have.

When could a test tell me?

Example
  • Too early. A negative result now would not mean much.
  • Estimated test window. Worked out from your own cycle, not a generic count.

Illustration only. Safr estimates this window from the dates you log. Timing varies from person to person and from cycle to cycle.

The moment we built it for

Something happened, and now you are counting days.

Most cycle apps are built for planning ahead. Safr is built for the stretch of days where you are reading symptom lists at 2am and a test would not tell you anything yet.

Log what you already know

Your last few periods, the dates that matter, and the symptoms you are noticing. That is enough for Safr to start. Nothing else is required.

Safr works out the timing

Instead of a generic two week wait, Safr estimates the earliest day a test could be reliable from your own cycle history and the dates you logged.

You get an estimate, and the truth about it

Safr shows an estimate built from your logged data, and says plainly that it is an estimate. It cannot detect pregnancy. It can tell you when to go find out for real.

What it tracks

The things you would otherwise chart by hand.

Safr picks up the same signals people track on a paper chart, without the 6am thermometer. Log any of it yourself, or let Safr read it from a photo.

Overnight temperature

Apple Watch, Oura Ring, or anything already in Apple Health. Safr reads your overnight temperature shift on its own, so there is no waking up to a thermometer.

Ovulation (LH) tests

Log the result yourself, or just photograph the strip and Safr reads the line for you.

Reads a photo

Cervical mucus

The signal that is hardest to describe in words. Log it, or photograph it and let Safr do the classifying.

Pregnancy tests

Photograph the test you already took and Safr reads it, so a faint line at 6am is not a judgement call you have to make alone.

Periods and flow

Log when your period starts and stops. Safr learns your rhythm and predicts the next one, your fertile window, and ovulation.

Symptoms

Cramps, nausea, mood, discharge, intercourse. All of it maps onto where you are in your cycle instead of sitting in a note on your phone.

Your data, handled with care

You are telling this app things you have not told anyone. We treat it that way.

On device first

Your cycle and health logs are stored on your device, not on our servers.

Never sold

We do not sell your personal or health data to anyone, at any price.

Disconnect anytime

Turn off a connected source whenever you like and Safr stops importing from it.

Yours to export

Request a copy of your data at any time, in a format you can actually read.

Yours to delete

Delete your account and your data from inside the app, without emailing anyone.

Spelled out

Read the Privacy Policy for the full detail, including every processor.

You do not have to count the days on your own.

Safr is on the App Store for iPhone. Your cycle data stays on your device.

Important: Safr is an education and cycle tracking app. It is not a contraceptive and does not prevent pregnancy. Never rely on it to avoid pregnancy.

Safr cannot detect pregnancy. Anything it shows about pregnancy likelihood is an estimate built from the data you log. Only a real pregnancy test or a clinician can tell you whether you are pregnant.

Safr is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice. No method of fertility awareness is 100% accurate. For contraception or medical advice, talk to a healthcare professional.
